How the media shape cultural values
June 17, 2:30pm-6pm

Values are inherited or taught within the family, but they are also influenced by the experience of life in society. In this sense, the media is one of the main sources and tools for reproducing and disseminating values in the dominant culture. How does the media shape what society considers important? Together with the Association for Media Literacy and Journalism, we invite you to reflect on this issue and to explore it further through two workshops.
