Many people think that the blind have no interest in visiting exhibitions or attending shows and performances. The truth is that the interest exists, the practice as well, but often the experience is not fully enjoyed by those who do not see because of the absence of audio description. This course will define and discuss the importance of audio description for creating a more inclusive and accessible culture. It will transmit basic knowledge for the production of an audio description script adapted to various artistic and cultural events. In a second phase, the trainees will work in the production and narration of the script, with a specific object of study, in order to go through all the stages of implementing this service. Finally, trainees will be able to apply the knowledge acquired in practical cases, that will also allow them to get closer to the public who needs audio description.
