Over the years, we have had the opportunity to listen to our colleagues Catarina Medina and Rita Tomás on several occasions, in training courses and also in debates. We admire and are inspired by their work, which reveals a constant concern regarding the role and potential of cultural communication.

We invited them to do this seminar, focusing on the political role of Communication, its contribution in fulfilling the mission of a cultural organisation and the creation of a relationship with the society. Communication is more than a poster or a post on social media, which informs the public on what, when and where. How can we expand the subjects covered by the programming and what channels and ways do we have at our disposal to explore them, in an accessible and inclusive way?
